Canadian girl Avril Lavigne has been singing since she was a little kid, has taught herself how to play the guitar when she was twelve, and can write a song in a day. When she turned sixteen, she moved to Manhattan to start working on her debut album. In year 2002, she released her first album, Let Go, which went on to sell 18 million copies all over the world and was actually certified six times platinum in the United States.Aside from having five songs at number one, Lavigne has also appeared in some films, her first being Over The Hedge, and the others being The Flock and Fast Food Nation, along with a cameo appearance on the film Going The Distance.
